I have lived in Albuquerque over 24 years and truly love the city and its people. I grew up in Louisiana and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1988 with a degree in Hotel Administration. The beginning of my hospitality career took me to various cities in the southeast including New Orleans and Palm Beach County Florida. I was transferred to Albuquerque in 1992 for what was supposed to be 18 months. Just like a lot of other friends of mine, I fell in love with the area and have remained in New Mexico.
Over the years I have had the honor to be Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Authority, New Mexico Restaurant Association Restaurateur of the Year, Treasurer of the Greater Albuquerque Innkeepers Association and I currently sit on the Board of the Endorphin Power Company. EPC is a drug free transitional home serving the southeast heights of Albuquerque.
In 2014 I decided to become a Farm Bureau agent so I would not have to move to another state. My wife Ramona and I have two children that are in middle and high school and we are very happy they get to grow up here.
